From the airport, following signs for I-87 (Northway) South, head South and exit at I-90 East. Exit at 787 South (Albany). Exit at Madison Avenue. Follow Further Directions ¹

¹ From the North, East, West and Airport
Proceed approximately one mile on Madison Avenue. Turn left onto New Scotland Avenue. Go four blocks. Center for Medical Science entrance (150 New Scotland Avenue) will be on your left. It is the first driveway immediately following the David Axelrod Institute entrance. The Center for Medical Science is located directly behind the New Scotland Avenue Armory building. Proceed to visitor parking area which is located toward the end of the driveway, adjacent to the building and parking garage.

From the South
Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 23. Bear right off the exit. At the light, turn left onto Southern Boulevard. Proceed for approximately one mile to Delaware Avenue. Turn right onto Delaware Avenue and proceed for approximately one mile. Turn left onto Holland Avenue and proceed five blocks. Albany Medical Center will be directly in front of you. Turn left onto New Scotland Avenue. Center for Medical Science entrance (150 New Scotland Avenue) will be on your left. From the Albany International Airport and the North
Follow signs to I-87 South. Follow I-87 to the I-90 E / I-87 S / I-90 W / NEW YORK THRUWAY exit- EXIT 1- toward ALBANY / BOSTON / NEW YORK / BUFFALO. Merge onto I-90 E via EXIT 1E on the LEFT toward ALBANY / BOSTON. Take the first exit , WASHINGTON AVE exit- EXIT 2- toward UALBANY. Turn LEFT onto WASHINGTON AVE. 1365 Washington Avenue will be on your left at the second traffic light. Enter through front of building. We are located on the first floor across from the elevator.

From NYS Thruway, the South and West
Take NYS Thruway Exit 24. Continue straight on to Interstate 90 East. Take the WASHINGTON AVE exit- EXIT 2- toward UALBANY. Turn LEFT onto WASHINGTON AVE. 1365 Washington Avenue will be on your left at the second traffic light. Enter through front of building. We are located on the first floor across from the elevator.

From the East (I-90)
Traveling westbound on I-90, take the RT-85 exit- EXIT 4- toward SLINGERLANDS / VOORHEESVILLE. Merge onto NY-85 S. Take the exit toward WASHINGTON AVE STATE OFFICES. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto WASHINGTON AVE. End at 1365 Washington Avenue.
